Note: After the treaty of Nagaur, which was signed on 2nd February 1756, Ram Singh secured half the territory of Marwar for himself, including Sojat, and therefore, this coin must have been struck under his authority. However, Ram Singh and Jayappa Rao Scindiahad signed a treaty allowing the Maratha Kamvisdar to stay in his territory in order to collect revenue from customs outposts which the Marathas and Ram Singh shared equally.
