This Medallion has&nbsp;the first appearance of the diademed portrait and most famous of Wyon&#39;s portraits.William Wyon portrait of Queen Victoria was the one used as the bust on the Penny Black stamp.&nbsp;The committee minute book records on 11th December that William Wyon was authorized to strike one example in gold for presentation to the Queen, 120&nbsp;examples in silver and 350 in bronze.
