Mahatma Gandhi, Hand Written Letter, 1939, Gujarati Script, Signed at bottom in Gujarati, Received on 12th April 1939, the letter was written in blue ink on handmade paper and is addressed to Shri Kumar Ranjit Singhji of Nawanagar, filing punch holes at the left, 118mm&nbsp;X 188mm, excellent condition, Exceedingly Rare.

Original Gujarati Text in 13 lines are - કુમારશ્રી રણજીતસિંહજી, આપનો કાગળ મને મળ્યો હતો.&nbsp;આપની સૂચના ને અમલમાં મૂકતાં જે પરિણામ આવ્યું છે તે સાથે ની નકલ ઉપર થી જોશો.&nbsp;જાડેજા જીવણસિંહજી નો જવાબ મને મળી ગયો છે. &nbsp;હું જોઉં છું કે એમણે આપને &nbsp;પણ નકલ મોકલી છે. હું દિલગીર છું કે તેમને સરદાર નાં લિસ્ટ માં રાખવાનો પ્રયત્ન નિષ્ફળ ગયો છે. આપનો&nbsp; મો.ક.ગાંધી

Translation of the Gujarati script to English reads, &ldquo;Kumar Shri Ranjit Singhji, I received your letter. You will see a copy of the above along with the result of implementing your instruction. I have got the answer of Jadeja Jivan Singhji. I see that he has sent you a copy too. I am sorry that the attempt to keep him in Sardar&#39;s list has failed.&rdquo; Followed by Mahatma&rsquo;s signature, &ldquo;Yours, M.K.Gandhi.&rdquo;

Seal in blue at the left contains text in 4 lines which reads &ldquo;Received, At 4.45 pm, 12/4/39, Rtt.&rdquo;
