Autograph, Shahzada&nbsp;Ghulam&nbsp;Muhammad Sultan Sahib, 1st December 1868, handwritten letter in English &amp; signed at the end of it on the 2nd page in English, 130 x 210 mm, excellent condition, Very Rare.

Prince Ghulam Muhamma Sultan Sahib was the last surviving son of Tipu Sultan lived from 1795-1872. He was the 14th son of Tipu, after the defeat and assassination of Tipu at Seringapatanam in Mysore State, his family was exiled to Calcutta by British Indian army. This two-page letter was written in English on an official letter head bearing the official logo on top of the paper. To mark a tribute, an important thoroughfare of South Calcutta has been named after him as, &#39;Prince Ghulam Mohammad Shah Road&#39;.
