Note: In 1964, the word &ldquo;Naya Paisa/Naye Paise&rdquo;, which was introduced in the year 1957 to distinguish from the old non-decimal (Pice &amp; Anna) series, was dropped from the coins. Coins from 1967 had values in Devanagari on each coin replacing the Devanagari word &ldquo;Naye Paise&rdquo;. 3 Paise were introduced in the Proof &amp; UNC set for the first time in 1967.
