Note: The Shilahara Dynasty, established during the Rashtrakuta period, held sway over northern and southern Konkan, encompassing present-day Mumbai and southern Maharashtra.

This dynasty underwent a division into three branches. The first governed Northern Konkan, the second presided over South Konkan, and the third ruled the contemporary districts of Kolhapur, Satara, and Belgaum from 940 to 1215. Subsequently, the Shilaharas succumbed to the dominance of the Yadavas.
