Note: Daulat Shah's reign was fleeting. In AD 1230 (AH 628), Sultan Iltutmish marched with a powerful force, captured him, and installed Malik 'Ala' al-Din Jānī as governor. Shortly after, Jānī was replaced by Malik Saif al-Din Aibak, who governed until his death in AD 1233 (AH 631). Malik Tughril Tughān Khan then assumed control, serving as governor for a decade.<o:p></o:p>&nbsp;Coins from this period display fascinating details. They reference Caliph al-Mustansir after the Shahada on the reverse. Coins where Iltutmish is titled al-sultan al-mu'azzam include the phrase al-mustansir bi-amr Allah, while those with al-sultan al-a'zam use al-mustansir billah.
